Inaugural General Meeting of the GOING Held for 2025

On April 30, 2025, the Green Organization for Innovative Next Generation (GOING) held its inaugural (founders') general meeting at Seoul National University and officially resolved to establish the incorporated association.

On this day, the general meeting reached a quorum with the attendance of 41 out of 58 total members. A total of 8 agenda items—including the adoption of the founding statement, establishment of the official corporate name, approval of the Articles of Incorporation, appointment of executive officers, and the finalization of the business plan and budget—were introduced and all approved as originally proposed.

Ingi Jung was elected as the first President, and the appointments of Directors and Auditors were also completed. Furthermore, the business plan and income/expenditure budget for the fiscal year 2025 were finalized, and the principal office was determined to be located at 124, Imja-ro, Imja-myeon, Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.

With the goals of environmental preservation and building a sustainable ecosystem, the GOING plans to drive youth-centered climate and environmental activities as well as research initiatives.
